Why I built AEO Whisperer

I'm Mike Yates, General Manager of BMW of Bridgewater in New Jersey. I've spent 30 years running dealership operations — sales, service, marketing, all of it.

A couple of years ago I started noticing shoppers walking in who had already asked an AI which dealer to visit. I wanted to know what those AI engines were saying about my store, and there was no good way to find out. So I built one.

AEO Whisperer checks how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity see your dealership, whether your website is built for them to read and quote, and how your reputation stacks up across seven review platforms. Every score comes from public data and a published method — no black box.

A note on fairness

I still run a dealership, and my store is in these rankings like everyone else's. It's scored by the exact same published method as every other store — no adjustments, no manual edits, no special treatment. If you think a score is wrong, tell us and we'll check it.
