We Just Shipped the Biggest AEO Whisperer Update Yet — Here's What Changed

When I first built AEO Whisperer, it did one thing: tell you if ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini knew your dealership existed. That was enough to open a lot of eyes. But visibility is just the starting line. What dealers actually need to know is why AI does or doesn't recommend them — and what to do about it.
That's what this update delivers.
Three Independent Scores, One Complete Picture
AEO Whisperer now grades your dealership across three distinct AI visibility pillars — each with its own dedicated analysis engine:
AEO Score — How AI answer engines surface your dealership when shoppers ask for recommendations. We query ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini separately and score each one. You see exactly where you show up and where you don't.
GEO Score — Generative Engine Optimization. This is the new one, and it's a big deal. Your GEO score measures how well your website feeds AI-generated results. Are you structured to be cited? Can AI engines excerpt your content? Is your entity data consistent enough for AI to trust? GEO answers all of that.
SEO Score — Classic search engine optimization. The technical and content foundation everything else builds on. Mobile readiness, crawlability, structured data, review authority — the fundamentals that still matter even as search evolves.
Each score runs on its own analysis engine. They don't share data, they don't share conclusions. Your GEO page tells you something completely different from your SEO page, because they're measuring completely different things.
What's Under the Hood
Here's what actually changed on the technical side — and why it matters for the scores you see.
Smarter AI for GEO analysis. The new GEO engine runs on a more capable AI model that writes sharper, more specific analysis. It evaluates five categories independently: Schema Depth, Entity Consistency, Content Citability, Review Authority, and Technical Readiness. Each one gets scored on a transparent scale so you can see exactly where you're strong and where the gaps are.
AEO v2 with three-tier entity scoring. The AEO engine now runs a deeper evaluation of how each AI model recognizes your dealership as an entity — not just whether it mentions your name, but whether it understands your location, your departments, and your competitive positioning. ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini each get their own score.
Accurate review authority analysis. If your dealership has 4,500 reviews at a 4.8 rating and your nearest competitor has 500 reviews at a 4.7, the platform now tells you exactly that — and explains the competitive advantage clearly. No more vague comparisons. The data is pre-computed from real Google Places and Maps data so the analysis can't misinterpret it.
CDN-resilient scanning. A lot of dealership websites use Cloudflare or similar CDNs that block automated scanners. Previous versions would see the block, assume there was no schema markup, and penalize the score. That's gone. If we can't verify your schema, we say so — no penalty, no false alarm. The score reflects what we actually know, not what we couldn't check.
Why This Matters Right Now
Here's the reality most dealers still haven't internalized: your customers are asking AI for dealership recommendations before they ever touch Google. When someone types "best BMW dealer near me" into ChatGPT, the answer it gives isn't based on your PPC spend. It's based on your entity data, your content depth, your schema markup, your review authority, and whether AI can actually understand and cite your website.
That's exactly what AEO Whisperer now measures — across all three pillars.
The dealers who figure this out first aren't just going to show up more. They're going to show up instead of the dealers who are still pouring budget into Google Ads while their AI visibility sits at zero.
What Your Scores Actually Look Like
The image at the top of this post is a real scan. Three scores, all rated independently, all transparent about what's being measured and how. No black boxes, no "trust us" — you see the breakdown and the reasoning behind every number.
The AEO score shows you how each AI model responds to queries about your dealership. The GEO score tells you whether your site is built to be cited by those same AI models. The SEO score confirms your technical foundation is solid enough to support both.
If any one of those three is weak, you have a specific problem with a specific fix. That's the whole point.
Run Your Free Check
Every dealer gets one free AEO visibility check at aeowhisperer.com. It takes about 60 seconds. You'll see your scores, you'll see how AI currently talks about your dealership, and you'll know exactly where you stand.
If you want unlimited checks, full GEO and SEO analysis, competitor intelligence, gap analysis with AI-written content recommendations, and downloadable reports you can hand to your marketing team or web vendor — that's $99 a month.
One incremental car deal pays for it for years. The question isn't whether you can afford it. The question is whether you can afford to be invisible while your competitors figure this out first.
